How to run the site

Everything the app does, in the order you'll usually need it. Work through a section, or jump straight to the part you're stuck on.

Getting started

  1. 1Create an account, then confirm your email so reminders can reach you.
  2. 2Add your first animal from the Collection page — name and species are the only required details.
  3. 3Set a rack and slot label on each animal so the Quick entry grid matches your room.
  4. 4Open Plan to see how many animals your current plan covers.

Bringing in records you already have

  1. 1On Collection, choose Import spreadsheet.
  2. 2Pick where the file came from — Husbandry.Pro, Reptile Scan, MorphMarket or a plain sheet — so columns map themselves.
  3. 3Upload a CSV, XLS or XLSX file, or download the blank template first and fill it in.
  4. 4Check the preview: duplicates and blank rows are flagged and skipped, and nothing saves until you confirm.
  5. 5If a starting weight column is present, each animal gets that first weight logged automatically.

Daily husbandry in one pass

  1. 1Open Quick entry and tap Start rack pass — every tub is ticked for you.
  2. 2Untick only the exceptions: the refusals, the ones in shed, the ones you skipped.
  3. 3Tap Fed, Cleaned, Misted, Shed or Weighed in the bar at the bottom to log everyone still ticked.
  4. 4The same Batch log button works on the Collection page when you would rather work from the list.
  5. 5No signal in the reptile room? Entries queue on the device and sync as soon as you are back online.

Breeding season

  1. 1Record pairings, locks and ovulation on each animal's page.
  2. 2Log clutches and eggs, then track incubation to hatch.
  3. 3Use the morph calculator to check odds before you pair.

Expo mode

  1. 1Save your show as an event: open Expo mode, pick "Save a new event…" in the Event picker, add the name and date, and tap Save event.
  2. 2Pick the animals you're bringing: with the event selected, tap "Add animals" and tap each animal you're taking. You can also use "Add to expo" on an animal's page or its listing.
  3. 3The inventory, "Bringing $X" total, table cards and exports all follow that roster. Pick "All animals (no event)" to see everything again.

Selling and your public page

  1. 1Publish a breeder page so buyers can find you.
  2. 2List an animal for sale with photos, price and shipping notes.
  3. 3Ask happy buyers to leave a story on the testimonials page — each one is reviewed before it appears.

Reminders, plans and billing

  1. 1Choose email, text or in-app reminders in Settings; they go out on a schedule, not all at once.
  2. 2Change or cancel your plan from the Plan page at any time.
  3. 3Team plans let you invite staff with their own logins and shared records.

Adding photos

  1. 1On any animal, open Photo album and choose Add photo — pick from your library or take a new one.
  2. 2Large phone photos are shrunk for you before they upload, so you don't need to resize anything.
  3. 3On iPhone, allow Camera and Photos when asked. If you said no, turn them on in Settings → Recovery Reptiles → Photos/Camera, then tap Try again.
  4. 4If an upload fails on a weak connection, tap Try again under the photo — nothing you typed is lost.
