Export your listings to ReptileAds

You can move your animals for sale from Recovery Reptiles to ReptileAds in one file — no retyping titles, prices or morphs. It takes about two minutes.

Before you start

  • Only live listings export. An animal has to be published (live for buyers) in the Marketplace to be included. Drafts and unpublished listings stay home.
  • First time selling here? Add your seller details once: Account → Seller profile — your Seller name and your Location (city, state). A listing can't go live without them, and your location is what fills in the export.
  • Photos travel too. Your listing photos go across in the file — the first photo becomes the cover on ReptileAds.

Step 1 — Export from Recovery Reptiles

From the Marketplace: go to Sell → For sale → Animals and tap Export listings for ReptileAds.

From your Collection: open Collection → ⋯ (Collection actions) → Export for ReptileAds. Tip: if you tick specific animals with Select animals first, the button becomes Export selected for ReptileAds and only those animals are included (they still need a live listing).

You'll see a confirmation like "Exported 12 listings" and a file named reptileads-import.csv will download to your device.

Good to know: exporting only reads your records. It never changes an animal, a listing or a morph, and nothing is sent anywhere automatically — you carry the file over yourself.

Step 2 — Import into ReptileAds

  1. Sign in at reptileads.com.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Import Animals → CSV.
  3. Upload the reptileads-import.csv file you just downloaded.
  4. Look your new listings over on ReptileAds and fix anything you want to word differently there — editing them on ReptileAds doesn't change anything back in Recovery Reptiles.

That's it — your animals are listed in both places.

How your morphs come across

  • Visual traits land in the Traits field the way ReptileAds expects: combos are split into their genes (a Lemon Blast arrives as Pastel + Pinstripe), super forms are marked (Pastel [super]), and the same morph under two names uses the standard name (Coral Glow arrives as Banana).
  • Hets are never listed as visual traits. They travel in the Notes in words, like "66% possible het Albino" or "100% het Clown" — exactly how you'd want a buyer to read them.

Keeping both places in step

When an animal sells or a price changes, update it in Recovery Reptiles and export again — a fresh file is always the fastest way to refresh your ReptileAds listings, rather than editing the same animal twice in two places.
